Convicted sex offender faces new charges

A Three Hills man is facing charges of sexual assault.
A complaint from a 16-year-old female was made to the Three Hills RCMP on Wednesday, October 20.
The complaint stems from an alleged incident near the beginning of September where the accused was visiting the victim’s home in Carbon.
Police have charged 32-year-old Curtis Long with sexual assault.
Long has been arrested, and is being held in custody pending a court appearance on Wednesday, November 3, where he is scheduled to appear on other matters.
According to a release, police are still investigating this incident and are trying to determine if there are other possible victims, and if so, they are asking them to come forward.
