IMG 7780

This season six girls that were Hussar Fireworks played for Strathmore Ice ringette team. They won the silver medal at the U16B provincial tournament in Westlock March 8-10.
Mary Sandum, Katelyn Sandum, Kylie Bishop, Grace Gregory, Jordan Holm, and Genesis Marucha joined their Strathmore teammates for some great ringette games.
They were 3-0 after round robin play, rewarding them with 1st place in their pool. Saturday evening they won a crossover game versus the host team, Pembina, guaranteeing them a medal game on Sunday. Placing third overall in the tournament had them facing Lacombe in the semifinals for a chance at the gold medal game.
Sunday the Ice battled the Lethbridge team. A tough game to a 6-10 final, resulting in the silver medal. Great end to a great season that saw two tournament golds, one tournament silver, and the Zone 2 League Banner.
