Bantams expect redemption at double-header home game Saturday

The Bantam Titans look towards a close game against the Spring Bank Phoenix this weekend, after taking a 52-6 loss against the Olds Bulldogs last Saturday.     Coach Andrew Berdahl said it was a tough game, saying their problem this game was they did not play well as a team.
“Against a good team, you can’t make that many mistakes,” he said. “I think that we’re still optimistic, we still have a good team, and we are looking forward to play-offs.”
The next two games the bantams face present a good opportunity for the team to take two wins before play-offs begin.
“They are weaker teams,” said Berdahl, who is looking forward to playing Spring Bank.
“I think we’ll compete quite well with them, it will be much closer. I expect that we are going to redeem ourselves.”
The team’s final regular season game is against Innisfail, and if things go as planned, they’ll be set for play-offs. Every team makes it into the first round.
This weekend’s home game is a double-header, with the bantams taking the field at 11:00 a.m., with the Senior Titan’s game against the High River Mustangs happening at 1:30 p.m.
