Losoncy family hosts memorial tournament

The third annual Paul Losoncy Memorial Golf Tournament raised $1,450, and it has been donated to help area residents fighting cancer.
On Tuesday, August Bink and Donna Losoncy made the donation to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation to be used at the Drumheller Community Cancer Centre, in Paul Losoncy’s name.

Paul passed away in 2004, and the tournament was dedicated in his honour.  This year 67 players on 17 teams took to the course in the Mexican scramble and best ball format tournament.  The team of Dave Prodaniak, Lisa Guild, Darren McLean and Quinton Koopmans, emerged as victors.
This year’s event exceeded last year’s total of $1,025, also given to the Community Cancer Centre.
