Sports Recreation Arts Expo 2011 shaping up with 37 exhibits

    With 37 exhibits enrolled, organizers of the Sports, Recreation and Arts Expo planned for March 10 are hoping to follow the success of last fall’s event.     “People are really wanting to show the community what’s involved with their clubs,” says organizer Cathy Smoliak, adding some clubs are even looking at bringing in motocross vehicles. “That’s one of the biggest parts of the event.”
    The event takes place at the Drumheller Stampede Grounds on March 10 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It’s a free event with a concession on site.
    Participating exhibitors include: Community Services, Badlands Community Facility, Drumheller Gymnastics Club, Strings n’ Things, Drumheller Soccer Association, Drumheller Aquadinnies Swim Club, Drumheller Aquaplex, Camp Venture, Primary Care Network, Badlands Lacrosse Association, Curves, carol todor dance school, Kidztown, Everybody’s Gym, Badlands Community Gardens Society, Communities in Bloom, Drumheller Garden Club, Relay for Life, Community Futures, Dinosaur Valley Half Marathon, Drumheller Dragons, Bedrock Playschool, Max Campus, Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club, Salvation Army, Valley Figure Skating Club, Drumheller Association of Skateboard Enthusiasts, Sandstone Lanes, KIDSING Music Project, Cottonwood Clay Studio, Drumheller Girls’ Softball Association, Drumheller Motor Cross, Royal Canadian Legion, Drumheller Community Football, Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, Drumheller Public Library, and Kidsport.
