The hospital gardens at the Drumheller Health Centre are a lot brighter thanks to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation’s (DAHF ) Be a Light! fundraiser. The community purchased solar lights, donated by Drumheller Canadian Tire to be placed in the hospital gardens to brighten the days of our Continuing Care residents and hospital patients while raising funds for the foundation. The Be a Light! fundraiser raised approximately $2,325 to fund the greatest need hospital equipment for the Drumheller Health Centre, and a few more lights can be purchased.
