Rosebud Executive Director Bob Davis steps down

Rosebud, Alberta – Rosebud Centre of the Arts Board Chair Colin Jackson announced today that Executive Director Bob Davis has resigned to take on a new role in tourism development with Canadian Badlands Limited.

“We are deeply grateful to Bob for eight years of excellence,” notes Jackson. “He has led the organization with skill, passion and set the highest of standards for hard work. There are many highlights of his tenure. One that shines the brightest and leaves a lasting legacy is his managing of the fundraising, design and construction of our new, five million dollar Rosebud Mercantile building. We wish Bob our blessings and look forward to his frequent attendance at our shows for many years to come."

Davis reflects, "I am grateful for the support from patrons, donors, volunteers, and above all – the staff at Rosebud Centre of the Arts during my time. I have been fortunate to have worked with an organization and in a community that is an Alberta treasure in the arts, education, hospitality and tourism. As I step into my new role in tourism development with the Canadian Badlands Limited, I look forward to continuing to work in partnership with Rosebud Centre of the Arts."

Davis will continue in his capacity as Executive Director until the end of October. Rosebud Centre of the Arts is commencing a search for a replacement. Information about the position can be found at www.rosebudtheatre.com
