One of kind weekend for Yavis Atom Raptors

The Raptors were booked in for a three game weekend coming away with one win, one loss and one tie.
The Raptors were forced to take their home show on the road Friday as they hosted Nanton in Hussar. It was the rematch from last weekend when the Raptors lost with 24 seconds to go. The coaching staff did an excellent job motivating the young team as the Raptors outplayed the Broncos in the first period outshooting them 11-2 at one point.

Yavis Atom Raptors carry the torch on the road

As the Torch Celebrations wound down in Drumheller, the Atom Tier 3 team carried their torch and dreams to Nanton as they had a match against the Broncos.
The Broncos had a slight edge in the league standings so it was a chance to gain some ground.
The game started out at a fast and furious pace and the Raptors cashed in on the first goal as Sean “the Sniper” Michalevich slapped it home. Great passing from Top Shelf and Wild Bill.
