Dragons hope for sea of orange at home opener Friday

   Good things were seen by Dragon’s head coach in both games lost this past week, bringing them closer to perfecting the team which has great potential in the upcoming season.
    Drumheller took a 6-2 loss against the St. Albert Steel on Friday.
    “We managed the puck well in both first periods of the game, and that resulted in us scoring the first goals in both games,” said Dan Price.

Dragons take two exhibition losses before regular season start

The Drumheller Dragons took on the Camrose Kodiaks twice in the wind down of the AJHL’s exhibition play over the weekend, taking two losses against the Kodiaks away and at home.
On Friday, Camrose hosted Drumheller at the Edgeworth Centre which saw the team take a 5-2 loss following a 5 on 3 goal by Drumheller that was disallowed.

Drumheller Dragons lose to Olds in first exhibition game

Monday marked the beginning of the 2010/2011 season for the Drumheller Dragons, and even though the team took a loss against the Olds Grizzlys, the game was a valuable demonstration of what the new Dragons could do.
