“Overall, it was pretty good,” said Duane Bolin, who speculated proceeds may be down to $5,000 from last year’s $6,000.
“It’s still a good time, and it all goes to a good cause.”
A team from Three Hills, Holes and Poles, finished the ‘A’ division on top, with the Boldogs from Drumheller being runner-up.
The Drumheller Fire Department performed a vehicle extraction demonstration during the weekend, showing off the “Jaws of Life” and new stabilizer jacks that were bought with last year’s tournament proceeds.
Sales from the grill, which cooked all weekend straight, and refreshments are pooled together between the Morgan Jayne Project and the fire department.
The final amount raised will be reported in this week’s inSide Drumheller.
