Kenneth T.

September 25, 1950 - September 30, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken on September 30, 2023 at the age of 73 years old.
Ken was predeceased by his loving partner Dorothy Farmer and his parents Wilbur and Lily Griffin.
He is survived by his sister Marlaine (Steve) Kalman of Nanaimo, BC, niece Karla (Jansen) Lee of Victoria, BC, nephew Steven (Sarah) Kalman of Victoria, BC, great-nephew Oliver Kalman, great-niece Gwen Kalman, both of Victoria, BC. He also had a loving extended family of cousins living in Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC.
Ken was born in Drumheller and spent most of his working life underground in the coal mines in East Coulee, Canmore, Grande Cache and gold and silver mines in Ontario. He always had many interesting and humorous stories to tell.
He was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to country music, watching old time movies and tinkering in his work shop.
There will be no service at Ken’s request but we feel he would be pleased if you were to raise a cold one in his honour.
