Kathleen

Kathleen passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Kathleen was born in Jasmin, Saskatchewan.
After finishing school she came to Drumheller to visit her aunt and uncle and never moved back to Saskatchewan.
She met the love of her life Jay Vickers. They were very involved with the Drumheller Miners hockey team. They also loved to go dancing and camping.
Kathleen worked at Eaton’s until they shut down. She then went to work for the gas company in the office until she retired.
Kathleen was very involved with the hospital auxiliary. Her knitting and crocheting was always in the auxiliary cupboard for sale. She loved going out for coffee with her friends. She loved going for drives in the country.
She was predeceased by her husband Jay Vickers, her parents Fred and Laura Hilson and sister and brother-in-law Monica and Lauria Patenaude.
She is survived by her niece Rhonda (Gerald) Beres and their family; Greg (Kim, their children; Taryn and William), Chris (Chelsey, their children; Sawyer, Beckett, and Boston), Kevin (his children; Kaleb, Colton, and Jase), Heather (Michael, their children; Eden, Linc and Alix), niece Debbie Patenaude (George Vass), and numerous nieces and nephews on Jay’s side.
Graveside service will be held at a later date which will be announced.
