Allan Albert Olmstead of Three Hills, AB passed away in the Red Deer Hospital on December 7, 2017 at the age of 87 years after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie Olmstead and special daughter Cara (King) Hebert, his brother Gerald (Marilyn) Olmstead, sister -in-law Ilene (Glen) Foulds, brother -in-law Alfred (Doreen) Reburger and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Darryl, sisters Blanche (Steve) Gogal, Ruby (Edward) Grover and brothers Richard (Hazel)
Olmstead, Harold (Agnes) Olmstead, Don (Nancy) Olmstead, sister-in-Law Doreen (Alfred) Reburger and brother-in-Law Ted (Betty) Morel. Allan spent 10 years as a mechanic for the M.D. of Starland and later worked for Ken Devalerola doing mechanical work. Following retirement, he kept busy offering mechanical services from his home. A family graveside service will be held at the Sarcee Butte Cemetery in the Ghost Pine area at a later date. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of your choice.
