Till Tape supports community

The Drumheller Co-op donated $10,403.84 to 32 area organizations on the morning of Friday, September 20, as part of the Co-op Till Tape program.
To date, over $280,000 has been donated to the Drumheller Community through the Till Tape program.

Organizations who received Till Tape donations on Friday include Badlands Search and Rescue, Bedrock Play School, Beta Sigma Phi, Beta Sigma Phi Rho, Beta Sigma Phi Preceptor Lambda, Church of the Nazarene, Dalum Friendship Club, DARTS, Drumheller and Area Health Foundation, Drumheller and District Humane Society, Drumheller Heart & Stroke Foundation, Drumheller Legion, Drumheller Minor Soccer, Drumheller Pioneer Trail Society, East Coulee Community Association, Fun Team Hockey Club, Heart to Heart, Hussar Lutheran Church Women, Knox UCW, Morrin 4-H Multi Club, Morrin ECS, Morrin UCW, Rosedale Recreation Society, Salvation Army, St. Anthony’s School, TOPS AB 4981, TOPS AB 778, Titans Football, Verdant Valley & Dorcas Women’s Institute, and Victoria’s Quilts.


Grouch supports High River family

The Old Grouch’s stepped up in support of a family ravaged by the flooding in High River this summer.
On Saturday, September 21, the Old Grouch’s held a fundraiser for the Kachour family, whose business was destroyed by the floods.

“It’s so nice and surprised us, because it really makes us feel like there are good people out there,” said Jacob. Over $1,350.00 was raised for the Kachour’s.
 

Strong support for Terry Fox legacy

It was a beautiful day for the annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 22, attended by dozens of Drumheller residents and Greentree School students.
Participants warmed up by dancing to “500 Miles”  and then ran, walked, and biked through Midland.
