Orange you excited?

Colton and Conner Enns-Horvath, 10 and 8, made much noise at the Dragons’ regular season home-opener as a part of the “sea of orange” who came out with ferocity to support Drumheller’s team. The Dragons, with much help from the loud crowd, went on to take an overtime win against Canmore’s Eagles, 2-1.

Race bandit crashes Dinosaur Half

A race bandit ran the Dinosaur Half in Drumheller on Sunday, September 12. This man refused to pay the entry fee, claiming it was his right to run where and when he pleased.

Race bandits and other individuals who participate in community-sanctioned events without paying raise liability issues as well as moral ones, oragnizer Colin Kloot said.

Kloot said the man will not be welcome to race in the Dinosaur Half next year, and suggests that other event and race organizers keep an eye out for him in their future events.
