A detached garage fire which spread to three vehicles at a residence along 7th Avenue SE (behind IGA) in Drumheller, was contained and put out quickly just before noon on Thursday with no reported injuries.
A witness on the scene said the property owner and her son escaped the fire uninjured after the fire started in the garage and quickly caught onto three vehicles parked close by.
When the Drumheller Fire Department arrived the garage, as well as three vehicles outside the structure, were fully engulfed.
Drumheller RCMP and Badlands EMS attended the blaze, which is now under investigation.
