DCHS puts Macbeth on trial

macbeth.jpg

It has become tradition for Mrs. Hemming’s Grade 11 English class from DCHS to file into the Drumheller Court House Tuesday after reading the Shakespearean masterpiece Macbeth, to re-enact and to be put on the stand as witnesses, psychologists, lawyers, and prosecutors to deliberate Macbeth’s or Lady Macbeth’s innocence. The students stage a mock trial to determine which character is guilty.
