Three Hills RCMP member Constable Matt Nyman received the Southern Alberta District officer C/Supt. Trevor Daroux Certificate of Appreciation for the sincere appreciation and recognition of his exemplary actions taken on September 14, 2021 in Delburne, Alberta.
On this day, Cst. Nyman found a choking and unresponsive male with a rope around his neck. His quick actions in providing first aid and calling EMS helped the male become responsive and able to receive care from EMS.
“The dedication and integrity you’ve displayed is truly a credit to the organization, the clients it serves and speaks to the high standard you have set for yourself,” a press statement reads.
