Stettler RCMP are investigating a homicide and have charged a 22-year-old man with manslaughter.
On April 14, 2022, Stettler RCMP received a report of a deceased person at a residence on 50A Avenue in Stettler.
Upon arrival, RCMP located a deceased 33-year-old male in the home. Stettler RCMP contacted the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit who took over the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, Alberta RCMP have arrested and charged Byron Ervin Dinsmore, 22, of Stettler with manslaughter with a firearm and indignity to a body.
