Woman sentenced for drug, property offenses

A Drumheller woman was given a 12-month conditional sentence order for drug and property-related offenses.
Jaime Ryan appeared in provincial court in Drumheller and pleaded guilty to simple possession of drugs and possession of stolen property.
On February 26, 2020, a home in Three Hills was searched after ALERT began a drug trafficking investigation. Investigators seized drugs including methamphetamine, GHB, Fentanyl, and LSD. They also discovered three stolen vehicles as well as various stolen items. Warrants for Ryan, Victor Foley, and Krista Rix were issued.
Ryan was arrested on March 5, 2020.
She pleaded guilty to a simple possession of drugs charge, a charge of possession of stolen property under $5,000, and a charge of possession of stolen property over $5,000 for a snowmobile.
She was given a suspended sentence of 12 months. Foley was sentenced for his part on October of last year, and charges against Rix were dismissed.
