Derek Carriere of St. Anthony’s School was named Student of the Month for January, 2017. Derek is a Grade 11 student who is involved in school activities in a number of ways. He participates in several school sports both with the school and within the Town. He is also a player on the Titan’s Football Team. Derek is very good mentoring other students especially the elementary and primary students. Derek is pictured with Barb Campbell of the Drumheller Rotary Club receiving his package, including $25 gift card from Value Drug Mart, movie ticket from Napier Theatre, pizza and drink from Boston Pizza along with a $25 cheque and certificate from the Rotary Club. Derek commented “thank you very much and I will make good use of all these gifts”.
