Drumheller 7-11 robbed

Drumheller RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early this morning at the Drumheller 7-11.

At about 12:46 a.m., a lone male entered the store wearing a ski mask. He showed the employee the handle of a gun in his pocket and demanded cash and cigarettes. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot, heading toward downtown Drumheller.

 According to police, the male subject was disguised with a ski mask limiting facial description.  The male is described as follows: Caucasian, approximately 6' 2", heavy build, possibly 220-260 lbs.

Drumheller RCMP is seeking assistance in identifying the person responsible for this offence.  Should anyone recognize the subject or clothing in these photos they are asked to contact the Drumheller RCMP at 403-823-7590 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
