Parents expecting to welcome their bundle of joy are in for a real treat if baby decides to arrive New Year’s Day - their baby could win the The Drumheller Mail’s annual New Year’s Baby Contest.
More than 50 Drumheller businesses have generously donated thousands of dollars in prizes for winning the New Year’s baby race. Restaurants, retail, and treats for mom and dad are just a small sample of the winning prize package.
The winning baby is determined as the first girl or boy to be born at the Drumheller Health Centre after the stroke of midnight January 1st, 2014. The Drumheller Mail must receive a written statement, including the exact time of birth specified by the physician, no later than January 3rd, 2014.
