RCMP investigating early morning armed robbery

On November 6, 2013 at approximately 2 am, three masked males entered the Mac's/Husky convenience store located at 175 Railway Ave S in Drumheller.

One of the males pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money from him. In addition to cash, also taken were cigarettes and lottery tickets. All three males were wearing masks and they fled from the store on foot. The clerk was not injured during the robbery. The investigation is continuing.

It is suspected that the culprits were waiting around the back of the building or proximity for a period prior to the robbery.
