Hanna featured on ex-NFLer TV show

The town of Hanna, that is no stranger to fame, is being thrust into the spotlight once again.
The town will soon be featured on American television as a segment in Viewpoints with Terry Bradshaw.
Hanna will be featured on an episode about the best places to live, work, visit, and play as part of the show’s “Explore North America” series.
The segment can currently be viewed on the Town of Hanna website. In it, Terry Bradshaw, perhaps one of the greatest quarterbacks to have played in the NFL, gives a short introduction and describes the town and its many features.
Residents should recognize  a few familiar faces, such as Mayor Mark Nikota, who is interviewed in the show.

Hanna Mayor Mark Nikota and the entirety of Hanna will be featured on U.S. television soon. The town will be featured on a five minute segment of Viewpoints with Terry Bradshaw, which has the titular NFL legend talk about a variety of subjects, including small town Alberta.

The hope is, by being broadcasted throughout the continent, more people will consider making the trip to Hanna.
“Hopefully we’ll see more people come here, that’s for sure,” said Laurie Armstrong, Director of Business and Communications with the Town of Hanna.
The show, said Armstrong, was looking for small communities in western Canada to feature and chose Hanna as one of them.
Filming for the segment was completed over roughly a day and a half last fall. The crew was small, but toured the major sites in Hanna, interviewed a few different residents, who all gave glowing reviews of the Home of the Canada Goose.
The show travels throughout the United States, and internationally, to bring viewers stories from the world of business and entrepreneurs within various industries.
Bradshaw, after retiring from the NFL has remained a familiar face on television as a colour commentator for Fox Sports.
