Blues review to benefit Poppy fund

Calgary blues mainstay the Kirby Sewell Band will be taking the stage at the Badlands Community Facility for the Drumheller Basin Blues review.
Kirby Sewell has been eking out a reputation with his unique blend of blues R&B and Gospel. He has made a few appearances at the East Coulee Spring Fest and is headlining the show this Saturday.
Doug Flotten of CCE Productions says the concert is in support of the Drumheller Legion. He explains the bar at the show will be going to the poppy fund, and the legion will also be setting up a silent auction table for the show.
“It goes to our branch to do something good for the community,” said Flotten.
For more information on the show call CCE productions at 403-820-3605 or 403-820-5265. Tickets are also available going to www.primeboxoffice.com.
