Drumheller RCMP have arrested a local man following a knife attack in the downtown core.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, November 6, a 32 year old man was attacked with a knife in downtown Drumheller.
He was taken to the Drumheller Health Centre to be treated for his wounds.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident, and have laid charges.
Edwin Lively, 27, has been charged with aggravated assault.
Lively was remanded into custody and will be appearing in provincial court in Drumheller on Friday, November 18 to speak to the charges.
