Bryden to appear July 8

Lawrence James Bryden is to make his next appearance in provincial court in Drumheller on July 8.     The Drumheller Mail reported that Bryden has been charged with causing damage or injury to an animal and creating a common nuisance under the Criminal Code as well as Animal Protection Act charges. He did not appear and subsequently a warrant was issued.
On Friday, June 24 an agent for Bryden’s council appeared and explained that Bryden’s non-appearance was the result of a miscommunication.
The warrant for Bryden was vacated and he is scheduled to appear July 8 with co-accused John Barry Graham.
