Who Are You? Jeff Brooks

Full Name: Jeff Brooks
Job: Social Studies teacher at Drumheller Composite High School.
How old are you? 26.

How long have you been in Drumheller? Just 5 months.
What do you like best about Drumheller? The people, they have been very welcoming! Also, the landscape is really beautiful!
If you could change one thing about Drumheller, what would it be? I would move it to the ocean…Can I do that?
Where were you originally from? My home town is Lethbridge, Alberta, however, I have also lived in Calgary and most recently in Victoria, British Columbia.
What do you like about your job? The staff has been amazing! I love the kids and I love social studies!
What do you do in your spare time? In my spare time, I snowboard, mark student assignments, hang out with friends and family, play guitar…watch DVDs. I just recently started watching the 24 series, and I also really enjoy LOST.
If you were granted three wishes, what would they be? I would wish for an end to sickness, poverty and hatred.
What’s your favourite movie and why? My favorite movie without a doubt is Braveheart! I love the courage in the character of William Wallace. He was a warrior-poet and an inspiration for my own life.
What would you like to achieve this year? My hope for this year is to make a lot of great memories!
Has reading a book ever changed your life? if yes, which one? Rachel’s Tears! And yes, it totally changed my life! I would recommend this book to everyone!
If you were reborn, who or what would you want to be reborn as? I would be reborn as a dolphin. They get to play in the ocean all day, and they always look so darn happy!
If you could choose one super power, which would it be?  Flying would be pretty awesome!
If you found a $100 bill what would you do? Keep it…oops did I say that?
If you could retire tomorrow, what would you do? Travel the world, over and over again!
If you were Prime Minister for a day, what would you do? If I could be Prime Minister for a day I would visit our fighting men and women in Afghanistan. I would thank them for their sacrifice to our great country!
