Moe (Anderson), Ruth Dorothy

Words seem so inadequate to convey the essence of the nearly 94 years of Mom’s life. They cannot express the emotion in her voice, the passion in her eye’s nor the warmth of her gesture. We will miss her dearly. Mom grew up on the farm outside of Rumsey with her parents and brothers Floyd and Lennart. Her career of teaching, raising a family and tending the farm at Morrin was complimented by her partner, companion and husband Albert Moe (1917-1999). {jathumbnail off}Her children Karen, Danny, Valerie and Keith are forever grateful for the nurture, wisdom and enduring compassion that was her life and her example. Her life’s passions of faith, friends, home and garden further exemplified principles of acknowledging those things outside of our control and the tending of constant encouragement required for those we can. Over the years the family expanded to include spouses (John, Elaine, Garth) grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a move to Drumheller building a network of support with family and friends both new and familiar. Grandchildren include Kim Neill (Michelle), Scott Neill (Renee), Heather Romero (Augusto), Nicole Moe, Andrea Sereda (Chris), Ryan Moe, Brianne Lattery (Tyson), Tyler Woolsey, Devon Felesky and Adam (Dayna) Felesky. Great Grandchildren include Madison Neill, Kelsey Neill, Jessa Neill, Avery Neill and Kait Felesky.A memorial service for Ruth will be held at 2 pm, Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Drumheller Alliance Church, 670 7 Avenue East, Drumheller, Alberta. Donations in memory of Ruth can be directed to either the Morrin Lutheran Church or the Drumheller Alliance Church.
