September 19, 1935 - February 9, 2022

Jack Turner, husband of the late Lorraine Marie Turner (nee Janzer), passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 86 years.
Jack was born on September 19, 1935 to Harold and Helen Turner.
Jack rode Novice Bucking horse in the 50’s at the Calgary Stampede, he was an avid bow hunter, building his own longbows embedded with Indian arrowheads that he found on the farm. He was an avid Fly fisherman, tied his own flys and for others as well. Jack fly fished in many places including Costa Rica, Fiji, Mexico and across Canada.
Jack and Lorraine travelled to Spain, Mexico and drove across Canada from coast to coast. They jumped on a train and visited the polar bears in Churchill.
Jack was predeceased by his loving wife Lorraine, his son Darrell.
Jack leaves to mourn two sons Dale E. Turner, and Bruce Turner, four grandchildren Kyle Turner, Clint Turner, Sabrina Turner, Justin Turner, 11 great grandchildren, sister Joan Herman, brother Bob Turner.
Memorial Service for Jack will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Home, interment to follow in the Delia
Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship at the Delia Community Hall following the interment services.
