1938 - 2016

Harley Christensen passed away peacefully in his sleep February 19th, 2016 at the Drumheller Continuing Care Unit at the age of 77. Harley leaves to mourn his passing his wife Marilyn; son Michael (Linda) Christensen; grandsons Connor and Ryan of Tottenham, Ontario; stepson Scott Turner of Brooks; stepdaughter Helen (Dave) Schlarbaum of Calgary; step grandson Justin (Lyndsay) Schlarbaum of Newfoundland; and step granddaughter Jennifer (Brad) Morgan of New Zealand. His sisters Margaret (Terry) Guta of Calgary; Penny (Mark) Hansen of Drumheller; and brother Richard (Dianne) Christensen also of Drumheller; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Chris and Betty Christensen, and brother Ross. There will be no funeral services as per Harley’s wishes. Donations may be made in his memory to any charitable organization of your choice. His wish was “to die sober”.
