WITT, Darryl Craig

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Darryl Craig Witt, longtime resident of Drumheller, Alberta. Darryl was born on April 6, 1964 in London, Ontario. At 10 months old, Darryl started walking and within a few days, he was running. Darryl was always hyper and did everything fast. He was quick to act, quick to tell you exactly what he thought, and quick to make anyone laugh. Darryl loved to drive and enjoyed his career as a truck driver. On his days off, he enjoyed jumping on his Harley and going for a ride. On February 24, 1999, Darryl, along with Tammy Thomas, welcomed their son, Dillan Craig Witt into the world. Darryl was a very loving father, he was very proud of his son and loved to spend as much time as possible with him. Darryl will be lovingly remembered by his best “Buddy” and son, Dillan Witt, his best friend and love, Bonnie McDonald, his dance partner, “little Sophie” (Granddaughter to Bonnie), his proud Father, John (Margaret) Witt, His loving Mom, Lorraine (Glenn) Estell, his big brother, Lyle (Kathy) Witt, stepbrother, Blaine Kennedy, stepsister, Lisa Paskuski, his niece, Jennifer Witt, great niece, Isabella Witt, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Darryl’s life was celebrated on Monday, May 27, 2013, at the Nazarene Church in Drumheller, Alberta and afterwards was put to rest at the Drumheller Municipal Cemetery.
