Dragons take 4-1 win over Mustangs

The Drumheller Dragons are back on the winning side of the score board. The Dragons took a 4-1 win against the Calgary Mustangs Saturday night to end a six game losing streak.
Jacob Schofield scored in the first period, on the power play, to give the Dragons a 1-0 lead. Dakota Zaharichuk scored the Dragons second, another on the power play, before the Mustangs scored their loan goal of the game. Reid Nemeth made it 3-1 Dragons going into the third. Connor Boyd finished it off in the third period with his goal securing the Dragons 4-1 win.
The Dragons will now have a week off before travelling to Lloydminster to face the Bobcats Friday night, and Spruce Grove Saturday to face the Saints. The Dragons next home game is Tuesday December 16 when they will host the Canmore Eagles. Game time is 7 p.m. at Memorial Arena.
