ROBISON
Scott

November 11, 1951 - April 2, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Robison.  He was taken from us much too early and will always be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and dear friend.  He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Sheila, his children; Kris and Kevin (Julie), his special grandchildren Lilly and Austin; mother Lillian Robison; brother Brian (Joyce); sister Risa (Wally); sister-in-law Carla (Barry); sister-in-law Lana (Layne) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Scott was born in Trail, BC on November 11, 1951.  Scott spent most of his life driving truck and later his love for trucking lead him to teach many students how to do the same.  He had a deep passion for the outdoors and you could always count on him and Sheila to be “gone camping” in the summer months.  He was a sports fanatic and loved spending time taunting his boys about the BC Lions and Vancouver Canucks.  In the last few years Sheila and Scott enjoyed travelling to hot destinations to escape the cold Canadian winter.  He will always be remembered for his strength, courage and his ability to always put others first.  He will fondly be remembered by his numerous friends that could always enjoy a cold one with him.  A Celebration of Scott’s Life was held at Waskasoo Estates Hall, 37543 England Way, Red Deer on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to S.T.A.R.S., Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, Alberta  T2E 8M7 or the Drumheller Area Health Foundation, c/o Drumheller Health Centre, 351 – 9 Avenue NW, Drumheller, Alberta T0J 0Y1.
