Ellen Maureen Hansen (nee Coyle) passed away with her children at her side on October 10, 2009 in Grand Prairie Alta Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. Ellen was born in Drumheller Municipal Hospital October 2, 1938. Ellen was predeceased by her father (Harry Coyle), her husband (Les Hansen), two children (Korey Lynne Hansen and Kalin Patrick Hansen) and a sister (Patricia Ann Olsen). Ellen is survived by her mother (Eva Coyle) and two sisters, May (Bill) Anderson and Ita Bulechowsky, three children: Kimberly Ann (Brian) Berg, Kerry Leigh (Dave) Pelham, Kelvin Douglas Hansen; eight grandchildren: Kristina Neddo, Sasha (Darryl) Lott, Jamie Pelham, Jasmine Pelham, Brandon Hansen, Desmond Hansen, Julian Hansen and Matthew Bouchard; three great grandchildren: Bryanna Neddo, Brock Lott, Aeva Lott and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was a loving and caring person and is sadly missed by all. She is with God and family now and free of the pain she suffered so bravely through her illness. May God keep her until we meet again.
