It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the death of our dear friend Earle William Hudgeon. Earle went home to be with Our Lord on Sunday August 23rd. He was born in Hanna to Coral and Bill Hudgeon, June 22, 1935. He leaves to mourn his passing his friend and partner Carol, and her children, his stepchildren Shelley and Tom Nelson, his good friends, Tom and Grace Keller, and their family, Brenda and Chris of Nanaimo, Arnold Jorgensen and wife Lorraine, cousin Jennifer Stewart of Nanaimo, and her children, cousins, Bob, Ken, and Don Hudgeon and families, and cousins from Calgary. Earle was involved in many things. He was secretary of the local Delia F.U.A., photographer for many years and went on a cruise ship to Alaska and became the photographer for that cruise. He was involved with the Solo club of Drumheller and had many good friends there. He worked in the radio station, the theatre, and for DCTV, and others as well.
Earle had a passion for the country; He had a Saskatoon orchard where he spent many days on one of his many tractors which were part of his John Deere collection. Earle also loved to cook and one of his specialties was Saskatoon pie from his own trees.
He also loved trains, chasing them for a good photograph, spent a lot of time learning about the stars.  He just recently spent the night at his farm watching the meteorite shows and enjoyed it so much. He travelled a lot with his Aunt Otta and had seen a lot of country. He loved accordion and Latin type music. He played the organ and enjoyed a lot of the old hymns. Earle had a great love for animals, children and his friends.
Earle was predeceased by his Mother Coral, Father Bill Hudgeon, his Aunt Otta, and other family members.
He will be sadly missed by all, especially his little dog friend Tipper but will now be at peace, safe in the arms of God, and reuniting with his loved ones gone on before. Till we meet again. We love You Earle. A Memorial service for Earle will be held on Friday August 28 at 2 P.M. at the Salvation Army. Donations can be made to S.T.A.R.S. or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
