Nellie passed away peacefully on June 16, 2009 into the caring arms of her Lord, whom she loved. Lovingly remembered by her sisters, Florence Hunter of Edmonton and Pat Vansen of Drumheller; nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers and one sister. A Graveside Celebration of Nel’s life and interment took place Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Edmonton Cemetery, 11820 - 107 Avenue, (North side of 107 Avenue). Luncheon and fellowship followed at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton. We would like thank the staff of Grey Nuns Hospital Station #51 for the excellent care and compassion given to Nel. Flowers gratefully declined.
