Hilda Edith Schielke was born on January 3, 1923 in Castor, Alberta to parents Mary and William. She had two brothers Gus and Benny; and one sister Lil. Hilda married Roger Talmage and worked for Canada Post as a post mistress for 25 years. Hilda passed away suddenly in the Drumheller Hospital on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the age of 86 years. She is survived by daughter Margaret of Edmonton; brother Gus of Stettler; dear friend Betty Cowie of Stettler; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Hilda was predeceased by her parents; husband Roger; brother Benny and sister Lil. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Hilda Talmage were held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 21, 2009 in the Heartland Chapel of Stettler Funeral Home, Stettler, Alberta.
