HALSTEAD, Lloyd
April 14, 1932 - April 16, 2016
With much sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of Dad, Lloyd Halstead on April 16, 2016 at Three Hills, AB. Lloyd was born April 14, 1932 and lived most of his life at Carbon on the family farm. In 2011 he moved from the farm to Three Hills. The Carbon Community was a big part of his life being involved in Carbon Lions Club, curling and just helping where he could. He is survived by his daughters Sharon and Dixie, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Darleen, son-in-law Ian Appleyard, his parents Leo and Ethel (Wright) Halstead and his brother Keith. A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Carbon Community Centre in Carbon, AB. Following the service there will be refreshments, reminiscing. If friends so desire, memorial contributions can be made to Three Hills Palliative Care or Carbon Library or a charity of your choice. At this time we would like to say Thank you to the staff at Three Hills Long Term Care for the excellent care Lloyd received.
