Carolynn Bramfield, age 66, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016. She was born September 5, 1949 in St. Helens, Oregon to William and Geraldyn Johnson. Carolynn moved to the family farm shortly after marrying her husband Brien in 1969. She devoted her energy to her children, travelling far and wide for rodeo and hockey. Some of her happiest moments were when she was spending time with her two cherished grandsons. Family and friends were Carolynn’s passion and delight. She loved to coffee with her friends and travel to see family. She is survived by her husband Brien of Craigmyle, her mother Geraldyn Johnson of St. Helens, Oregon, her daughter Kelly Shimp, husband Scott and grandson Blake of Ponoka and her son Bill Bramfield, wife Jodi and grandson Rhett of Rimbey. She is predeceased by her brother Don Johnson of California and her father William Johnson of St. Helens, Oregon. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20th at 11 am at St. George’s Catholic Church in Hanna with a luncheon following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Central Alberta Cancer Centre, 3942 50A Ave. Red Deer.
