It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George (Kevin) Thomson on January 14, 2016 at the age of 56 years. Kevin was born September 6, 1959 to Barbara and Manley Thomson. Kevin’s passions in life were trucking and square dancing, Kevin would give anyone a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Kevin leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Manley and Barbara Thomson of Drumheller, brother Stephen Thomson of Calgary, sister Cheri (Tracy) Hoffman of Calgary, nephews, Dylan & Dustin, nieces, Ashley, Kirstyn, Victoria, Samantha, great niece, Keilyn, great nephew, Corbin, and a life time of friends. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from COURTNEY-WINTER’S FUNERAL HOMES with Jerry Beskowine L.W.L. officiating. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to S.T.A.R.S. or Drumheller Area Health Foundation or the charity of one’s choice. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
