STOTZ, Alvin John

Alvin passed away peacefully in Hanna at the age of 81 years. Alvin’s early years were spent in school and on the family farm at Craigmyle. After leaving farming in the mid 1970’s, he moved to Hanna and resided with his mother Bertha. Alvin worked for the town of Hanna for over a decade and dedicated himself to his posting with the public works department. After spending a few years in retirement he relocated to Drumheller, enjoying new found friends and activities. Alvin is survived by his twin sister, Alma Albright (Edward - deceased) of Delia, sister, Ida and Willard Steeves of Chestermere, and numerous nieces and nephews. Alvin was predeceased by his older sister Doris Labatt. A Memorial Service for Alvin will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Courtney -Winters Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Boehm officiating.
