LESOWAY, Peter

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Peter Lesoway, a longtime resident of the Drumheller Valley on October 31, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Peter was born in Tofield, Alberta on May 9, 1927. Peter came to the Drumheller Valley in the 1960’s and worked in the Oil patch, he remained doing rig work for the next thirty years. Peter had a great love for all domestic animals. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Peter was a man of few words and his kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Peter leaves to mourn his passing, two sons, James (Liz) of Drumheller, Alberta, David (Bonnie) of Whitecourt, Alberta, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and wife Connie. Peter was predeceased by his only daughter, Joanne in 2004. Service of Remembrance for Peter was held Monday November 7, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. from Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Chapel, Drumheller, Alberta.
