The Morrin/St. Anthony’s senior boys basketball team  has had a great season, but it is winding down over the next couple of weeks.
The two schools combined forces this season to put a team on the court, and it has worked well, playing in the Golden Hills League.
On Wednesday night, March 4, they hosted the Acme Redmen in their final league game of the season. The two teams went head to head, basket for basket and ended up tied at 28 at half time. Acme began to pull away in the third quarter and won 63-55.
The combined team still has a shot to make it to zones. This Monday, March 9 they are heading to Strathmore to play Holy Cross Collegiate in a qualifier to see who goes to the  zone tournament.
The winner will attend Zones at Strathcona Tweedsmuir in Okotoks on March 13 and 14.
