As part of the Canada 150 celebrations, the Town of Drumheller is promoting the ParticipACTION 150 Play list.
This is a list of 150 activities for people to take part in throughout the year. Every month they will be promoting different activities on the Play List; for example pickle ball and curling will be highlighted in February.
“We won’t just be promoting the activities put on by the Town; we want to promote the range of activities put on by our great community groups,” explains Julia Fielding communications officer for the Town of Drumheller. “Please let us know if you have events and activities coming up and we will promote them on our Canada 150 Facebook page and the calendar on the Town of Drumheller website.”
“The ParticipACTION 150 Playlist covers activities from soccer to bean bag toss so people of all fitness levels can take part” added Darren Goldthorpe, “The Town of Drumheller wants to support people in keeping active, however they can, and we encourage people to stay tuned for different activities each month which they can join in. If your group has an activity coming up please let us know.”
