Plant the town red

IMG 6299light

It’s time to plant the town red in time for Canada’s 150 anniversary celebrations. (l-r) John Lukezich of the Town of Drumheller Public Works, Shari Christensen of The Drumheller Mail/inSide Drumheller and Town of Drumheller operations manager Kevin Blanchett plant some special Canada 150  tulip bulbs that will be ready to bloom in the new year to mark 150 years since confederation in Canada. The Drumheller Mail/inSide Drumheller has supplied Canada 150 tulip bulbs to Sunshine Lodge, Continuing Care (at the Hospital), Town Hall, the Miner’s Memorial, Angel’s Corner and Senior Services to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday. Watch for the tulips to peek up in the spring of 2017. Inset: Canada 150 tulip.
