Drumheller RCMP are investigating three incidents of possible child abduction attempts in Carbon after reports were made of two men trying to lure children into their vehicle.

The incidents occurred on Wednesday between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Caradoc Avenue in Carbon.

Two male suspects, driving a white van or a small pick-up truck with a box topper with rust around the wheel wells, approached the children and tried to get them into the vehicle.

One suspect is described as caucasion, over 6 feet tall, in his 40s, with straight chin length brown hair. His face was unshaven and he wore a white t-shirt and ripped jeans.

Another suspect is described as Caucasian with a scruffy bear and brown hair, wearing a camo coloured ballcap.

The children did not get in the vehicle and were not touched by the suspects.
