On the evening of January 2, one of Drumheller’s dinosaurs fell victim to an accident. A bench dedicated to a grandmother was also smashed into and destroyed. According to Corporal Rod Guthrie, police responded to the collision at about 3:00 A.M. this morning. It appeared that a vehicle lost control and the driver waited for emergency responders. Alcohol was not a factor and 
the Police will continue to investigate. The accident occurred at 3rd avenue and Riverside Drive. Crime tape has the scene surrounded, cautioning “Do not cross”.
