Pronghorn Controls was honoured on October 28, 2015 with a Safest Employer Award!
Canadian Occupational Safety’s national awards program, now in its 5th year, recognizes employers with exceptional health and safety, wellness and psychological safety practices.
“We have been successful at building a strong safety culture because we really believe ‘there is no work that is so urgent that we can’t take the time to do it safely and nothing is more important than our employees going home to their loved ones at the end of every shift,” said Drumheller and Hanna and District Manager Darcy Davidson.
There are several different categories:  Oil & Gas, Building & Construction, Public Sector & Non-Profit, Manufacturing, Mining & Natural Resources, Transportation, Utilities & Electrical, Healthcare, Hospitality, Psychological Safety and Retail & Services.  Pronghorn Controls was a silver winner in the Oil & Gas category.
A Gala Banquet was hosted in Toronto by Canadian Occupational Safety.  In attendance at the awards were Yves Tremblay, President and CEO, Dean Toly, Sr. VP Operations & COO and four Pronghorn employees selected for their dedication and commitment to promoting a leading edge safety culture: Jesse Hall, Kurt Lueers, Vance Thurber and Doug Willms.
Yves Tremblay who accepted the award on behalf of Pronghorn said, “This prestigious award belongs to all of us.   Everyone at Pronghorn is responsible for safety and our track record is the result of our collective efforts.”
Pronghorn Controls is a full service instrumentation and electrical products and services company with twenty employees based out of the Drumheller 601 9th St branch who cover Drumheller, Hanna and the surrounding area.
